Machine vision systems:

The technical team visits client site for knowing the requirement and knowing present process
The technical team report thus submitted at the end of visit is analyzed with application team for suitable system development
Requirement specifications get evolved after the analysis. The requirements are evolved in two streams
i. Functional requirement of machine vision system.
ii. System of handling, segregation and process flow.
The approved specifications are taken as requirements
The design process consists of following five streams
i. Digital image processing
ii. Optical and lighting design
iii. Camera and integration design
iv. Machine interface design
v. Handling, segregation and process flow design

It goes in an iterative review process once the prototype testing starts. The incubation period for the prototype is minimized using well defined process for design reviews.
